Your primary purpose will be to maximise the profitability of our network by devising long-term strategies and short-term plans. The role of Networks Manager is about combining revenue, cost, operational and strategic lenses to determine the optimal route/aircraft deployment to fly the right aircraft, at the right places, at the right frequencies, at the right times to optimise profitability, operational reliability and customer outcomes.This role demands a deep understanding of revenue dynamics, customer preferences, cost structures, and infrastructure constraints to ensure the optimal deployment of aircraft. You'll be instrumental in determining the right aircraft, routes, frequencies, and timings to optimise profitability, operational reliability, and customer outcomes.The core responsibilities of this role will be:

• Lead the optimisation of fleet allocation and strategic planning on a rolling 1 to 5 year timeframe across our international routes and New Zealand
• Responsible from concept to implementation, and review
• Optimise the network in the mid/long term
• Deliver profitable network solutions
• Deliver effective and profit maximising dual brand strategies working closely with Qantas

To be considered, key skills will include:

• Airline experience (5+ years of airline network planning, financial / strategic planning, and / or management consulting,
• Experience across multiple geographies and cultures, Functional knowledge across marketing, sales, distribution and customer facing business areas highly regarded OR Management consulting experience with strong modelling capability and influence
• Globally recognised university degree
• Airline modelling and systems experience advantageous
• Superior excel, PowerPoint and word skills
• Power BI and Data analytics expertise highly regarded

This role also requires our team members to be willing and able to travel within Australia and Internationally.
