Murray PHN is a part of the national network of Primary Health Networks across Australia. We work closely with the primary health system to identify opportunities to improve health outcomes in our community.
Murray PHN spans the northern Victoria area from Mildura to Woodend and eastward to Wodonga including Albury NSW. Servicing this area are offices and staff located in Albury (North East), Bendigo (Central Victoria), Mildura (North West) and Shepparton (Goulburn Valley), acknowledging that our region crosses many First Nations lands.
About the role:
Murray PHN is seeking a qualified Manager Finance with CA or CPA certification to join our Finance Team. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations and transactions and provide essential financial analysis to support the Company’s operational and reporting requirements.
Working with key internal stakeholders, you will deliver timely and accurate financial forecasting, undertake analysis on actuals against budget and manage the Company’s statutory financial reports and acquittals. You will also lead process and system enhancements in finance, support long-term financial management strategies, and increase financial literacy and expertise company wide.
This is a full-time ongoing opportunity to develop your career with an established not-for-profit while directly impacting the health outcomes of your local community.
About you:
Success in this role requires tertiary qualifications in finance or a related field, along with CPA, CA, or equivalent certification. Significant experience in similar roles is essential, particularly in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading change management through financial systems and technology to enhance financial efficiencies across the organisation. Strong relationship-building and management skills are crucial for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in healthcare or government, real-time analytics, and training non-financial staff is a plus.
