The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our VIC Field Sales Team in this newly created New Business Territory Manager position. This role is responsible for winning New Business across identified areas within the state to grow the overall distribution of our White Milk and Chilled Beverage categories.

As a key member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for winning New Business and growing sales through the distribution and product visibility of the Bega Dairy & Drinks portfolio. You will be engaging with non-trading or lapsed customers across multiple channels including Cafes, restaurants, petrol and convenience and Local Trade throughout the Central and surrounding areas of Melbourne.

Responsibilities

  • Working with Sales leaders to identify the best offer to convert non stockists.
  • Creating an action plan to identify target customers in your region
  • Working with Territory Managers to generate and follow up on warm leads
  • Managing customer on-boarding from account set up to transition
  • Lead the state on the New Business strategy, providing insights to the state field sales team on wins.

About you

  • Strong sales experience with ability to achieve targets, execute priorities within a structured call that overall increase distribution.
  • Demonstrated courage and resilience to have constructive and challenging conversations including cold calling
  • Commercial knowledge - understanding market & industry dynamics, utilising volume, rate, and mix targets, pricing strategies
  • Ability to build relationships with customers based on value creation
  • Passionate, Self-Driven with key strengths in planning and follow-up
