Job description:

What you will do

Based in Tasmania, as part of the broader Victorian sales team and reporting to the Dealer Director, you will focus on potential opportunities with new vehicles as a base but will also have an overall responsibility for the customers in your portfolio. You will be responsible for:

• Promoting, negotiating and selling total transport solutions, product and services
• Developing and implementing sales plan for the portfolio
• Maintaining regular contact with customers and identifying sales opportunities
• Continuously developing relationships with existing and new customers
• Identifying new prospects and developing an in-depth understanding of customer businesses
• Manage your portfolio through the in-house CRM system

Who you are

To be successful as an Account Manager within Scania Australia, you will have proven successful account management and sales experience, with a hunger and passion to set and achieve sales KPI's.

You have a key focus on building relationships and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Ideally, you will have prior experience selling trucks or related heavy-duty equipment and sound knowledge of the truck/bus industry.
