Form of workJoin Macquarie’s Asset Management public markets Line 1 risk management team. You will support a wide range of business partners, and play an important role in identifying risks, assessing adequacy of controls and contributing to continuous improvement.
This is a 6-month contract.

What role will you play?
As a risk professional you will lead targeted risk reviews and control assurance, develop, implement and update policies, procedures and systems, and investigate, assess and document operational incidents. You will oversee operational risk issues writing risk reports for senior management and boards, and identify and address risks involved with new products, business activities and projects. Your commercial approach and ability to build relationships at all levels will allow you to increase staff awareness of risks and controls while also ensuring adherence to Macquarie’s risk management framework and associated policies.
What you offer
- 5 years’ experience in risk, audit or a control focused positions within the financial services industry or experience as an asset manager in a front, middle or back office role
- Ability to take a pragmatic, commercial approach to risk
- Motivated and focussed on achieving positive outcomes
- Ability to work independently and collaborate globally with a strong attention to detail.
