Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated NPD (New Product Development) Technologist with a background in food science to join their team on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have approximately 3 years of experience in the food industry and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with customers, team members, external partners, and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product concepts from ideation to commercialization.
- Conduct product trials and experiments to optimize formulations and processes for ready-made meals.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations throughout the development process.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate into product development strategies.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation within the product portfolio.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
- Approximately 3 years of experience in food product development, preferably within a ready-made meals manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with various stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and presentation in all aspects of work.
- Proven ability to take initiative, demonstrate energy, and drive projects to completion.
