NSW Operations Manager

A well known and established Precast Concrete manufacturer and supplier has an opportunity for a full time experienced Operations Manager to join our team of professionals, the candidate must have experience in the construction industry and has been in a similar role. The position is based in Head Office Western Sydney.

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for the entire operational functions of the business alongside site and installation coordination. This includes and is not limited to achieving financial budgets and production output targets.

As a Operations Manager you key responsibilities are: 

• Responsible for all OH&S procedures and processes and ISO Compliance
• Plan and execute Business Strategy through effective Leadership
• Ensure Quality , OH&S and Environmental Standards are maintained
• Cleanliness of factory 
• Monthly reporting
• Scheduling of manufacturing and coordinating site deliveries
• Managing the output of the factory and overall factory performance 
• Recruiting select and discipline employees 
• Manage staffing levels and hours
• Arranging and manage overtime hours for staff
• Work in a team environment and collaborate with others
• Be prepared to participate in all phase of precast co-ordination
• Demonstrate and understand workshop drawings
• Apply standards of purchasing, scheduling and deliveries 
• Produce accurate work as part of a coordinated project team
• Manage and drive the production of the product
• Finishing trades to final handover
• Factory to be “Tour” ready at all times
• Reporting directly to General Manager 

The successful and ideal candidate will:

• 10 years Precast preferred and/or Manufacturing and Construction experience
• 10 years Management experience
• Experience in Building and Construction industry essential 
• Professional Leader, Decision Maker
• Motivated and Punctual
• Deadline orientated 
• Excellent communication skills and strong time management skills
• Experience in Office 365

Attractive Salary $166,500 inc super + Vehicle package for the right candidate.
