Nurse Unit Manager – Bass Unit (Medical)

Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a Nurse Unit Manager to join our Bass Unit on a full time, ongoing basis.

Reporting to the General Manager Inpatient & Rehabilitation Services the successful applicant will play an important role in managing, co-ordinating, leading and developing the unit, ensuring patient centred care, and the achievement of a high standard of quality patient outcomes. The Bass Unit is a 32 Bed Unit with a number of medical specialties including General, Renal and Cardiology.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Sound clinical knowledge, skills and a minimum of 5 years clinical experience
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary service delivery framework
• A commitment to ongoing professional training and development
