An excellent leadership opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse/Midwife to join our team in providing specialised perioperative nursing leadership and support in the provision of elective and emergency surgical services to a vibrant rural community at the Clare Hospital.
The Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager Perioperative and CSSD role is a new clinical leadership position for Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. In this role you will be working 0.84 FTE - 4 days/week, providing support and clinical leadership to a dynamic and growing rural health care and theatre service that provides level 3 surgical, anaesthetic and sterilising (CSSD) services and provides 13 operating sessions a month in the specialties of orthopaedics, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, general surgery, plastic surgery and gynaecology. Care is provided to both adult and paediatric patients. The unit also provides level 3 maternal and neonatal services requiring a 24/7 emergency theatre on call services.
This position offers an opportunity to participate in the redevelopment of theatre suite and CSSD redevelopment at Clare with a focus on staff wellbeing, professional development and workforce development.
