Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust OH&S policies aligned with Australian standards and legislation.
• Conduct regular, thorough risk assessments, ensuring compliance with Australian safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to seamlessly integrate safety measures, adhering to Australian regulations.
• Lead comprehensive safety training programs for employees, contractors, and partners, emphasising strict adherence to Australian guidelines.
• Oversee incident investigations, analysing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation, fostering awareness and accountability.
• Stay updated on changes in Australian OH&S regulations and industry standards, incorporating best practices into their safety framework.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant Australian regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an OH&S Manager, preferably in Australia's Renewable Energy or construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Australian OH&S regulations and standards, with practical application experience.
• Strong leadership skills to influence a commitment to safety at all organisational levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging and educating diverse Australian teams.
• Professional certifications are highly desirable.
