About the position
We’re on the lookout for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team! This is a great opportunity to join a group of passionate therapists with a supportive and fun culture. We’re a large, established organisation comfortable working within NDIS.
As a Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for supporting our customers in achieving a lifestyle of their choice by providing a contemporary therapy service that maximises their independence and participation.
This position is Permanent, Full Time based at our South Metro Hub.
In your role as an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Be supported by our New Starter Program and a strong supervision framework tailored to your needs
- Bounce ideas off your multi-disciplinary team with years of combined knowledge to collaborate and get the best solutions for our customers
- Have a gradual caseload build-up over time and tailored as much as possible around your area of interest
- Have a combination of Hub and community visits for variety in your day. Use our pool vehicles or claim for mileage for community visiting;
- Regular team ‘huddles’ to support with day to day operations and individualised 1:1 Check Ins with your line manager to discuss your career goals.
- We can offer career pathways across the lifespan, such as clinical speciality areas Early Childhood Intervention, Assistive Technology and Positive Behaviour Support;
- Learn and develop further with our discipline specific round table meetings, work shadowing, external professional developmental and internal Masterclass event

If you’re successful…
You will need to have the following requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy;
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, current Driver’s Licence, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
