An exciting opportunity has risen within our company for an Occupational Therapist to join our innovative team as a contractor.
We have a growing caseload of preschool and school aged clients, between the ages of 3-12 years who have support needs and are looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working in paediatrics to support them. This role can be suitable to anyone who wants the flexibility to work from home and on any days and times of the week.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Can assess clients using informal and formal standardised assessments
- Be willing and able to work under a neurodiverse affirming model
To excel in this position, you will have the following skills:
- Fully registered with APHRA
- Paediatric experience
- Experience working as a qualified/registered Occupational Therapist
- Have an understanding of the NDIS and how to support clients
- Be able to work in the social model of disability
- Be able to work in clinic and in the community
- Ability to manage a case load and complete timely case notes
- Be able to work in a collaborative team environment
- Highly motivated and positive
- Willingness to work across the lifespan
The successful candidate will be joining a team of OT's as well as other disciplines. As a fully qualified therapist/contractor, you will receive a billable hourly fee based on your level of experience and ongoing support from highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapists as well as the practice owners and colleagues.
