Connecting Dots for Kids is a provider of clinic, community and online speech pathology, occupational therapy therapy assistant, and key worker supports for Children aged 0-18 and their families. We are dedicated to helping Children and Families connect and thrive. Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of each child, promoting their development and overall well-being.
Role Description
This is a full-time Occupational Therapist role for Children and Families at Connecting Dots for Kids. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapy services to Children and working collaboratively with their families. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to help children improve their motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. This is a hybrid role, based in Longwarry, VIC, with the flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy
AHPRA and OTA registration
Experience in working with Children and Families
Knowledge of Pediatrics and child development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team
Experience or interest in clinical supervision of students and early career clinicians
