Barwon Health is the major public health care provider in the Barwon South west region with a 406 bed public hospital (University Hospital Geelong), 100 bed subacute facility (McKellar Centre), 2 community rehabilitation centres, 21 community health sites, four aged care facilities, university affiliated international research and tertiary education.
Barwon Health has an extensive building projects occurring with a women’s and children hospital development in acute and subacute programs, new mental health facilities for inpatients and outpatients, new urgent care facilities in community locations.
About the role
We are seeking applications for an enthusiastic Grade 1Occupational Therapist to join our clinical rotational program which has:
- 12 rotations
- across acute, inpatient rehabilitation, community rehabilitation (CRC), community health (CHC) settings
- in the clinical specialties of orthopaedics, surgical, medicine, neuro rehabilitation, geriatric evaluative management (GEM), trauma and paediatrics
- Location dependent on applicant’s experience (current vacancy in CRC Trauma)
- Bed based rotations inclusive of a weekend and public holiday roster with additional financial rewards with pay and leave for weekend work
- Dedicated senior Occupational Therapist as your supervisor who will provide support, mentoring and professional development
- Engagement with a large passionate and committed team of Barwon Health Occupational Therapists (over 160 staff)

- Clinically experienced in the delivery of team based healthcare
