About the role
To deliver high level and contemporary occupational therapy skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of clients within the Developmental Disability Stream of the Community and Oral Health (COH).

- Contemporary high-level knowledge, expertise and skills in the provision of occupational therapy services for clients with a developmental disability, as recognised by clinical experience, professional development activities, post graduate education or formal qualifications, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to provide occupational therapy clinical services of a complex nature, where established principles, procedures and methods require some expansion, adaptation or modification.
- A broad understanding of the continuum of care for occupational therapy and the organisational provision of multidisciplinary health services
- Ability to provide high level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors regarding service delivery, technology and improvement opportunities.
- Ability to initiate, plan and evaluate local service improvement initiatives and provide clinical supervision to subordinate personnel.
- A professional capacity to lead a professional and/or multidisciplinary team, including the leading of clinical solutions through a wider team
