Position Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivatedOffice & Accounts Manager to join our team in the Toowoomba office.
The Office and Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations, including accounting software management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance.
The Office and Accounts Manager will be the first point of contact for all accounting and operational issues in the firm; managing day-to-day office operations, fostering a productive work environment, and handling IT infrastructure and supplier relationships.
Duties include:
Accounts Management:
- Ensure efficient operation of accounting software to meet firm's needs.
- Handle all aspects of general administration in the Accounts Department, including financial document production and reconciliation tasks.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable functions, payroll processing, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform daily banking activities and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee debt collection processes and develop accounting procedures in consultation with directors.
Business Development:
- Provide financial reports and assist in budget preparation and business planning.
- Report against annual budgets and business plans to Directors at determined intervals.
- Assist in implementing strategies for change and growth, including marketing and promotion of the firm..
IT Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues and inquiries.
- Manage IT infrastructure and coordinate with external IT vendors for support and maintenance.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding of staff in terms of IT accounts and access rights.
The position is full-time; however, we are open to flexibility for the ideal candidate. Alternative arrangements such as part-time contracts or school hours can be considered.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience in financial management, office administration, bookkeeping, or a related field, and hold intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite. Additionally, you should possess excellent attention to detail, demonstrated organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, work cooperatively in a team environment, and autonomously when required, and an eagerness to learn.
