Job description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the accounts receivable function in addition to general administration and office duties of a timber processing mill in Penrose NSW. 

This position is casual involving approximately 25 to 30 hours per week

Key Duties

  • Generating and sending sales invoices.
  • Answer phones and attending to customer account queries. 
  • Maintain customer files including the preparation and distribution of monthly statements.
  • Data entry of production information. 
  • Processing and receipting payments. 
  • Reconciliation of debtor's.
  • Investigating and resolving any inventory irregularities with the assistance of the Finance Manager.
  • Purchasing of general supplies (both for production and the office).
  • General administration duties as required.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Account receivable experience. 
  • Data entry skills and experience. 
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive team attitude with the ability to work within a diverse range of people. 
  • Ability to  to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the use of accounting software.
  • Experience and proficiency in  excel and word.
