Office Administrator – Full time
About us
St Anthony’s Family Care delivers a range of services to nurture and support children and young adults of all abilities.
We are a not-for-profit organisation located in Sydney’s leafy inner west area from where we deliver a broad range of services to children and young adults with a disability and operate a large inclusive Early Learning Centre.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Full time Office Administrator to assist in the smooth and efficient running of our organisation. This is a newly created role stemming from our recent growth and ongoing commitment to providing quality services to families in the local community.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with Coordinators and Management to provide support to our clients, families, team, and other stakeholders;
- Sharing responsibility for reception duties including answering calls and greeting visitors and contractors;
- Act as a primary point of contact and ensuring the smooth day to day running of all administration functions;
- Assist with HR functions including recruitment and onboarding new team members, conducting file audits, and supporting management with compliance;
- Assist with fundraising appeals, receipting, and banking;
- Provide support with fleet vehicle management, organising inspections and services;
- Manage meeting room bookings and set up, including technology requirements;
- Utilising various IT systems, create new entries, maintain up to date data and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Requirements
- Minium 5 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment;
- Demonstrated history of strong work ethic and reliability;
- Demonstrated high level of problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently (as required) and exercise initiative;
- Demonstrated ability to learn and use industry IT specific systems;
- Commitment to providing a client focused service in a timely, consistent, coordinated, and flexible manner;
- Ability to problem solve and stay calm under pressure;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity
- A driver’s licence
Qualifications
- High School degree and additional Admin Officer qualifications or significant experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
