About the role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your duties will include:
- Calendar and email management and assisting the Managing Directors
- Act as the point of contact amongst employees, clients and external parties
- Assisting Managing Director’s with administrative tasks e.g. gathering documents and maintaining records
- Document preparation/formatting internal and external communications e.g. emails, reports, presentations, memos
- Reception duties – answering the phone, greeting clients and setting up board rooms for meetings, responding to email/web enquiries and distributing correspondence appropriately.
- Taking minutes during meetings and following up action items arising from the meeting
- Social Media management
- Marketing and assisting with market research for special projects.
- General office duties such as ordering office and kitchen supplies, maintaining the office filing system
- Accounts payable/receivable tasks such as reconciliation purchase orders
- Organizing site documents
- Collecting and matching purchase orders
- Booking and arranging company social events for staff and clients
- Uploading documents into Simpel our construction software
- Assisting with booking appointments and preparing quotes/invoices for our remedial company

Skills and experience
Required skills;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience working in construction or a related industry is preferred
- A team player with collaborative attitude
- Familiar with MYOB
- Good knowledge of building methods and regulations.
- Good communication skills, Problem Solving Skills.
- Decision making ability and commercial awareness.
- Pro active approach to learning and development
