The opportunity:
Due to ongoing growth across our team, we have a newly created opportunity within our Brisbane team for an Office Assistant, working to support the smooth operations of our day to day head office operations and create a positive and welcoming experience for both staff and visitors in our new, state of the art West End offices.
We are seeking somebody with a passion for creating positive experiences and a drive for excellence in customer service, keen and curious to learn on the job. Innovation, creativity and a desire to create a sense of belonging is key to our values, and this opportunity will provide the opportunity to shape our workplace community.
As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:
Administrative support across the business including email management, expenses, domestic and international travel arrangements and staff rewards and recognition programs
- Events management both onsite and offsite, collaborating with the social committee for event coordination, team functions, organising catering and set up and pack down
- Working with the Property Management team to ensure property keys are ready for collection and returned appropriately
- OH&S support for the QLD office including Fire Warden and/or First Aid Officer, ensuring equipment is compliant and details up to date
- Maintaining a strong working relationship with building management to assist with basic building maintenance
- Concierge / Front of House management - creating an excellent first impression for front of house including maintaining cleanliness and stock maintenance
- Meet and Greet of all visitors both face to face and over phone and email enquiries
- Reception duties and administrative support
You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
- Demonstrated experience within a customer facing role, preferably within a corporate environment
- A relationship builder who thrives in a people facing role and has a can-do attitude
- A desire to build a long and successful career with an eagerness to learn and develop on the job
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Flexible and adaptable in an ever-changing environment
- Proficiency with the Microsoft office Suite
- A passion for developing a career in the property industry
