POSITION DESCRIPTION – OFFICE ASSISTANT – TORC TIGHT QLD
Torc Tight Qld Pty Ltd is a growing local business seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our office staff. We are in Atherton, Far North Queensland business working predominately in the mining and heavy earthmoving workshop industries.
Salary/Wages
Workers are paid at the Clerical and Administration rate within the Business Equipment award 2020.
Role
Duties include:
- Predominately act as Personal Assistant to the Company Director;
- Assisting with invoicing and purchasing.
- Following up customer’s paperwork and payment;
- Receiving and processing purchases;
- Organising outgoing freight;
- General administrative tasks.
What you will need to succeed:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills;
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Able to work independently and within a busy team environment;
- Competent in the use of computer software packages including Microsoft Office and accounting software – experience with MYOB is desirable;
- Willingness to acquire new skills.
