The role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Assistant to join our growing law firm based in Brisbane. Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
This is a perfect opportunity for a recent school leaver looking for an entry level administration role in a busy law firm. This role will report to the Office Manager and will be given the opportunity to undertake a Certificate III in Legal Services.
The key responsibilities that this role would undertake includes:
Processing all inbound and outbound mail deliveries including date stamping, organising and delivering internally.
Organising couriers as required and ensuring delivery by following up with courier.
Maintaining stationery supplies and re-ordering items as required.
Assisting with photocopying and special document collation or presentation requests.
Performing outside duties such as hand deliveries.
Ensuring the firm kitchens are tidy and restocking items as required.
Managing incoming calls, answering questions and recording accurate messages.
Providing reception relief and administrative assistance to legal teams where required.
Assisting reception with the maintenance of meeting rooms to ensure they are clean and presentable for all meetings and assisting with the preparation of tea and coffee orders.
Who we are seeking
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Professional personal presentation and telephone manner.
Ability to manage a high volume of work.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Previous administration experience is desirable, but your attitude and determination is more important.
