Here at National Storage, as part of our continuing strategic growth plan, we are seeking a self-motivated and internally driven OH&S Manager to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of employees within the organisation.
The Role:
Reporting into the General Manager of Safety and Assets, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing occupational health and safety programs within the organisation and will ensure compliance is mandated alongside relevant regulations and standards. You will identify and mitigate workplace hazards and promote a culture of safety and cohesion throughout the organisation.

- Risk Assessments and Control Measures
- Safety Training Program Oversight
- Incident Investigation and Analysis
- Compliance Monitoring
- Emergency Response Plan Maintenance
- Safety Audits and Inspections
- Team Leadership (Safety Team)

About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Safety, bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in an occupational health and safety role.
- Thorough knowledge of OH&S regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in promoting a culture of safety.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and OH&S management software.
- Strong background in risk assessment and safety strategy and safety management systems understanding.
