Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable On-Call Administration Assistant to join our team. The On-Call Administration Assistant will play a crucial role in providing timely responses to out-of-hours enquiries, including call-ins, incidents, and emergencies. This position requires availability for on-call duties as follows:
- Wednesday on-call will start at 12:00 am Tuesday night and continue until 8:00 am Wednesday morning. It will then recommence from 5:00 pm Wednesday to 8:00 am Thursday morning.
- Thursday on-call will start at 5:00 pm Thursday and continue until 8:00 am Friday morning.
- On-call duties will then recommence from 5:00 pm Friday and continue through the entire weekend, including Saturday and Sunday, until 6:00 am Monday morning.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to work regular office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The candidate will also receive one weekend off per month, during which the On-Call Administrator will be on-call from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and effectively to out-of-hours enquiries, including call-ins, incidents, and emergencies.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all out-of-hours activities and communications.
- Provide administrative support during regular office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, completing standard administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and other duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless continuity of service provision.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or disability support setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially when responding to emergencies.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and over the Christmas break as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of the NDIS or related disability support services is desirable but not essential.
Must be available to complete a 4-week full-time training in the office on commencements, which will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
