SalaryProgrammed is currently seeking an enthusiastic Program Leader to join a well-established team at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct, a premier sport and recreation venue that offers accommodation, sporting facilities and adventure activities for individual and group use
As a Program Leader you will be a key member of the team responsible for engaging with participants while delivering a range of instructor-led activities under the department’s program delivery framework ensuring a safe, fun, and high-quality customer experience
About the Role:
- Shifts available Monday to Sunday between 6am and 9pm
- Safe facilitation of high-quality sport and recreation activities and programs for individuals and groups in line with venue procedures
- Providing input to the development and continuous improvement of a broad range of community-based program and other initiatives as required, to increase the participation of Queenslanders in sport and recreation programs
- Assisting with the implementation of, and adhering to, risk management and activity specific policies and procedures for the safe, efficient, and effective running of programs and activities
- Ensuring that accompanying teachers / group leaders have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities while conducting activities at the Venue
About You:
- Experience in Outdoor Recreation or Outdoor Leadership
- Accreditation in Outdoor Recreation or Outdoor Leadership
- Positive Blue card (Paid Employment)
- Current Driver’s License
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Available to start ASAP
- Reliable team player
- Positive attitude with a passion for coaching
