About the role
As the Operational Systems Support Officer, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless availability, functionality, and maintenance of operational infrastructure to uphold exceptional customer service standards.
We seek individuals with recent expertise and proficiency in technology roles, particularly in the following domains:
- Installation, administration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2016/2022 operating systems.
- Deployment, management, and issue resolution of Windows 10 operating systems
- Networking competencies including IP addressing and VLANs management.
- Proficiency in Windows Active Directory management
The role involves meticulously analysing the performance and availability of PTA's IT Systems and Services. Through observation, problem identification, and strategic thinking, you'll spearhead the proposition and implementation of innovative solutions to bolster these crucial systems and services.
Moreover, candidates with fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas are preferred but not required:
- VMware infrastructure
- Windows Group policies
- Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
- Operation Technology (OT)
Effective communication is paramount, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication will foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring collaborative efforts and seamless integration of enhancements across the board.
