About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Support Lead, this role is primarily to support the Operations Technical Training Group with the administration of ASC's Apprenticeship program and any future Technical Traineeship programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the delivery of trade apprenticeship programs for ASC.
- Work with the Technical Training team and Corporate Learning and Development to support the facilitation and coordinating all aspects of their training plan specifically; induction, RTO training (incl. block release), enterprise training, incentive claims management, specific licensing and supporting rotation aspects.
- Actively advocate Apprenticeships through the participation of Community Engagement initiatives, Work Experience Programs and Pre-Apprenticeship Programs to support the ongoing pipeline of talent into the program.
- Provide assistance and information to promote the employment of Apprentices, including liaison with workplace managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective management of the program.
- Provide administrative support to manage the employee's apprenticeship documentation and comply with departmental information security guidelines, precedents and mechanisms and play an active role in protecting the information assets and intellectual property of the organisation.
- Execute safety responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities consistent with ASC safety management systems.
- Commitment to safety and all WHSE regulations.
- Good computer literacy especially with MSOffice suite & MS SharePoint.
- Honesty, integrity, accountability, and initiative.
- Strong teamwork attributes with ability to help motivate, influence and support others.
- Be well organized and demonstrate sound judgment.
- A confident, inquisitive personality and enthusiastic attitude.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
