Job title: Operations Co-ordinator
Reporting to: KSQ Directors

Employment Term: Permanent Part-time (minimum 22.5 hours p/w)
Salary: Between $29.50 – $34.50 per hour (depending on experience) + 11% Superannuation

Position Overview
Operations Coordinator (OC):-
Reporting to the Directors of KSQ, the OC will be responsible for the growth and operations of the KSQ order fulfilment and product segment. The OC is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the KSQ distribution centre, ensuring products are stored, organised, and distributed efficiently.
The OC will be responsible for improving current processes and workflows which are implemented within the KSQ order cycle. KSQ stock inventory resides in a newly purchased Vstore storage system which requires standardised procedures for operating. The OC will need to be savvy in technology and have a natural drive for success metrics.
A mixture of teams will require regular collaboration with the OC such as; Sales, Field Services, Administration, Accounts and several more.
The OC should be a motivated individual who has a passion for improvement and creating operational efficiencies. There will be requirements for hands-on skills for pick and pack, general order processing and supporting KSQ products as part of the daily workload.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database
- Support KSQ technical products (fields servicing)
- Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products
- Implements daily production and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse
- Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments
- Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items
- Identifies and reports slow-moving product and with approval, arranges for the removal of the product
- Directs forklift drivers to store goods in identified areas
- Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
- Operates forklift as needed
- Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports
- Creates new processes and procedures in aid of operational efficiencies
- Manage inventory and business projects related to improving order workflows and stock management
- Performs other related duties as directed
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 3 years in Operations, Warehousing, Field Services, Inventory Management or in a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn company product codes, terminology and processes
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- High analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory and stock management
- Excellence in multitasking
- Current driver’s license
- Permanent Residency / Citizenship to Australia
In addition, the following skills will be favoured upon;
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of pick and pack processes and procedures
- Experience in project management systems and Excel
- Technical documentation writing skills
- Experience in database management and configuration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in, supply chain management, logistics, IT, business, administration or similar
