- Developing and maintaining productive and positive relationships with clients
- Acting as the liaison between the Sales, Operations and Account Management team for the Customer in regard to their account queries providing regular updates in accordance with the companies SOP’s
- Ensuring the smooth transition of a new client into the business
- Communicating account needs to internal stakeholders
- Shipment information
- Order status/ updates
- Grievances/complaints
- Monitoring ongoing claims
- Invoice queries
- Billing queries
- Adhoc Customer Service duties as directed
- Freight forwarding or supply chain operations experience is a must
- Understanding of quoting and tender documents is required
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, highly service orientated
- Analytical and target focussed
- Experience with working with regulations
