THE ROLE!Reporting to the Directors, your role is pivotal in overseeing the success of our business ensuring we remain compliant, efficient and profitable. You will proactively foster teamwork and exhibit the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
You will forge strong and effective working relationships across our wide range of clients and create and deliver business improvement plans for our growing business to ensure continued success.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple teams including training and development, finance management, performance management etc.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement and maintain best practice customer service strategies to ensure we are meeting and exceeding client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Develop and manage budgets and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Drive business growth, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, new and existing.
- Inspire a strong and connected workplace culture. Lead, mentor, and inspire our teams.
- Prepare regular reports and performance metrics, analysing key operational data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Auditing of internal systems and operation functions to ensure they are compliant to relevant legislation.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on employee engagement and development.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering and production processes.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management and contract management. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
