Operations Manager

Woods & Co has partnered with a highly successful and multifaceted organisation operating within the security industry and cleaning. The client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager who can hit the ground running to oversee staff and manage key client relationships. With the security company contracted to one of Melbourne’s premier multi-purpose entertainment hubs, you will have an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in Melbourne’s most thrilling events.

What will you do?

• Manage and oversee staff, providing hands-on leadership to site staff
• Develop and maintain strong relationships through a program of visits and a well-developed communication strategy
• Ensure OH&S guidelines are followed and met
• Finance control
• Review and respond to weekly/monthly reports
• Identify new business opportunities
• Oversee site rosters  

What do you need?

• Proven leadership experience, with a record of building strong and supportive teams
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service
• Presentable and well-spoken
• A strong commitment to the role, with a drive to excel
• Experience in the events or security industry is desirable but not necessary
• Valid driver's license
