About the Role
This is an exciting time for our business, and we are seeking a switched-on and commercially savvy Operations focused individual to help take us to the next level. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving all operational aspects of the business. We are looking for a person who not only has the right experience but someone with the drive and attitude to succeed. The hire office is the heartbeat of the business and is responsible for delivering the outstanding customer service that the All Star brand is renowned for.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage All Star's day-to-day operations
- Ensure the organisation follows the most effective processes to facilitate business operations, improving efficiency and impact by utilising technology and other innovations.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures that support business operations.
- Ensure that all compliance and statutory regulations, OHS, and environmental objectives are met.
- Manage internal and external customers and suppliers to proactively resolve any issues, while developing and maintaining strong relationships
- Foster a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork are #1.
- Provide guidance and assistance to all employees.
- Support the General Manager and Senior Management team as required.
- Assist in the continued growth of the business and help develop our strategic plan.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in an operational-based role, with experience in the hire industry a bonus.
- Proven ability to build a strong team environment and relationships with both staff and customers.
- Proven track record of managing and improving operational performance
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain client and supplier relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of OH&S requirements.
- A proven ability to respond effectively to challenges, multi-task, and prioritise activity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to problem solve.
- A can-do attitude with a drive and determination to succeed.
