Specialising in crane hire and transport to coal mines in the Bowen Basin, SureLift Crane Hire is seeking applicants for the Operations Manager role.
About the Role
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the region, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with the operations team to forecast demand and ensure timely service delivery.
- Conduct site surveys, plan, draft, review and update lift plans.
- Maintain job cost control and monitoring for accurate recharging and reporting.
- Work with the team providing technical information and resource requirements. Review the requirements of upcoming projects and provide support for resources on site.
- Liasing with clients and contractors throughout the region to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supporting the owner, to develop and deliver the business strategy and plan for our region.
- Developing, mentoring and coaching your skilled and down-to-earth team, crane operators and riggers.
- Liaising with the planning team to ensure that your clients needs are met and exceeded.
- Working closely with the team to deliver top workplace safety performance, quality, exceptional people engagement and outstanding commercial performance.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have.
- A minimum of 10 year’s experience in a similar role.
- You will possess project management skills relating to planning and coordinating along with a knowledge of cranes and their operation.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Organisation skills are also imperative and a clear understanding of safety and legislative requirements relating to our industry.
- A passion for cranes and lifting.
