We are looking for a passionate and driven Operations Manager to help us transform the way rugs are sold online! This is a full-time role.

The role
We are looking for a stellar team member. You’ll join our experienced Operations team in shaping a strong team culture that you can be proud of!
The Operations Manager will provide first class service to all areas of the business, as well as to our customers and suppliers. This role will maintain a clear and scalable logistics strategy to support the growth of Miss Amara.
What you'll do:
- Lead the warehouse team to ensure that the right products make it to the right customers in a timely manner, delivering on key performance indicators.
- Own relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth order fulfillment, including providing analysis on new or existing contracts.
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse managers and employees.
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping.
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met.
- Optimizing daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
- Schedule and oversee the warehouse team to meet the demands of fulfillment, manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency, and minimize overtime.
The successful candidate
What You’ll Need to Have:
- 3+ years of logistics and operations experience, with a focus on warehouse optimization.
- Ecommerce operations background, including familiarity with online retail fulfillment.
- Proficient in market research for identifying trends and consumer insights.
- Commercially minded with a passion for organizational growth strategies.
- Strong communication skills and confident leadership demeanor.
- Ability to handle large data volumes, derive insights, and implement data-driven strategies.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, purchasing software, and ERP systems.
