About the Role- Operational Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a small high-performing team, setting clear objectives, monitoring their progress and providing high quality feedback.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee everyday operations, optimising processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Safety and Compliance: Uphold and enforce the highest safety and security standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams, key stakeholders, including engineering, production and customer service, to improve operational processes and resolve challenges.
- Resource Management: Efficiently manage budgets, personnel, and equipment to meet operational goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, implementing best practices and driving efficiency and productivity.
- Reporting Structure: Report directly to the General Manager and owner of the business
- 5+ years’ experience managing and developing employees
- Territory qualifications within business, engineering, operations management or other
- Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide your team towards excellence.
- Experience understanding financial and management accounting.
- Experience managing safety emphasising a zero-incident culture and experience and knowledge across high-risk industries.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, even in high-pressure situations.
