We are currently seeking an Operations Manager for the PM shift, to manage the operations at RFC in an automated warehouse operations and be conduit between the customer, operations, safety, sustainability and logistics for our operations. This role is tailored for an experienced leader who can bring engaging people management skills, who thrives on coaching and mentoring, and possess an analytical mindset to identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Take charge of PM shift operations, ensuring seamless workflow and adherence to schedules.
Serve as a strategic people manager, providing coaching and mentorship to team members for their professional development.
Analyse operational processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency.
Lead the implementation of new initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and contribute to overall business success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement projects and achieve operational excellence.
Provide regular feedback and conduct performance evaluations, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for development.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
Efficiently manage resources to meet operational goals and targets.
To be a success in this role your prior experience will include:
A managerial role, preferably in logistics or operations.
Exceptional people leadership and coaching skills.
Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements.
Proven ability to implement and drive new initiatives effectively.
