THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for an Oracle Applications Engineer to join our team in North Ryde, Sydney NSW. Reporting to the ERP Lead, your main responsibility will be to support the business using Oracle ERP, with a primary focus on the application, development and technical support on all Oracle modules. This role gives an opportunity to work on Microsoft D365 services.
We employ a hybrid working charter with flexible working options and 3 days per week office attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently provide Level 2 support for business users of the Oracle ERP service and its associated modules, along with the interfaces to peripheral applications
- Collaborate in the investigation of reported problems with all key stakeholders Business users, and IT staff to ensure efficient resolution of issues
- Support the delivery of SLA’s and KPI’s for the Oracle ERP service
- Leverage industry best practice and emerging technologies to enhance the Oracle ERP service as part of a continuous service improvement program
- Ensure the change management practices are adhered to for all Oracle ERP related changes and developments
- Ensure statutory and compliance obligations are met as appropriate for the Oracle ERP service
- Ensure that all Oracle ERP work practices and systems processes are comprehensively documented
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical, active listening and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the SDLC using the agile and waterfall methodologies
- Understanding of Oracle ERP architecture and technical development tools
- Experience in developing concurrent programs and PL/SQL interfaces.
- Experience using Oracle ERP Modules under Oracle E-Business Suite
- Expertise in developing/modifying Oracle forms and Reports in eBusiness environment
- Experience in D365 Field service module is an advantage
