About the RoleAs an organisational design professional, you'll work within our Workforce, Insight and Reporting team, within our People Services area, to conduct an organisational design project on the Departments leadership roles.Due to the nature of the review, while you will be in a supportive team environment, the successful candidate will need to work independently whilst reporting to the Director as overall project lead.
Skills and Qualifications- Independently conduct role evaluations using the APS Role Evaluation Tool
- Conduct interviews with staff to gather information regarding the role responsibilities and accountabilities, including tasks, duties and delegations.
- Verify information and seek further information with role supervisors (General Managers - SES Band1)
- Assess the information gathered against the APS Work Level Standards using the APS Role Evaluation Tool
What's on offerThe successful candidate will notionally be offered a 6 month hourly rate contract at the EL1 or EL2 level (dependant on experience). This position is based in CanberraAs this role is with the Federal Government, only Australian citizens will be considered for this vacancy.
