A service based in Preston is looking for a passionate and organised Assistant Coordinator for children in our after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 27.5 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!
Hours will be Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 03:00 - 06:30 PM (Stay and Play Program).
About the role
Co-managing a team of Educators, you'll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities. You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
* Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
* Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
* Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
* Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Based in Preston, this role would see you embedded in a vibrant school community with a positive attitude and large Outside School Hours Care attendance. They need a confident Assistant Coordinator who can take the lead.

* Strong and clear communication and planning skills
* Team player with a desire to become a service leader
* Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
