About Magical Care
We are a recently established and rapidly growing care provider for aged care and NDIS clients. Our office is based in Clayton, Southeast Melbourne, but we have clients and staff throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and parts of regional Victoria.
Due to increasing demand for our services, we are seeking an enthusiastic, and dynamic team member to assist in the management of staff rostering and client booking needs, afterhours on call.
The successful applicant will be responsible for day to day management of staff rostering and service bookings. Efficient time management, reliable, commitment to the job, strong admin skills, precision with rostering is a must.
Experience in aged care or home care sector is preferred.
You Will:
- Accepts accountability and responsibility for own actions
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Computer, keyboard, alpha/numeric skills
- Knowledge of varying software programs
- High level organizational and time management skills
- Ability to assess and priorities workload
- Excellent people and communication skills including relationship building, cooperation and conflict resolution
Your Role
- Screen telephone calls and enquires and redirect as appropriate
- Reply messages, emails in a timely manner
- Organize master roster and shift validation
- Organize the client intake process, assemble client’s information and documents and liaising with client’s representatives, case managers, care staff
- Coordinate shift schedules for clients and ensure that care staff are assigned appropriately based on client needs and preferences
- Assist in ensuring bookings are made in accordance with priority deadlines
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and staff records, restore them in an organizing manner
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as word processing, photocopying, scanning, filing
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and their families, and respond promptly to any concerns or questions they may have
