Summary:
We are looking for a NDIS Support Coordinator Assistant to join our Lifeful Support Coordination team. This is an entry-level role, and you will be provided with all the training needed. You will need a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to learn new things quickly.
This role is best suited to someone who is a self-starter, leads by example, has a can-do attitude, is an excellent communicator and works well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Support Coordination Assistance:
- Assist Support Coordinators in developing and implementing NDIS plans for participants.
- Provide administrative support in arranging and coordinating services as per participants' individual needs and preferences.
- Assist participants in navigating the NDIS system and accessing appropriate support and services.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of participant information, including NDIS plans, progress notes, and correspondence.
- Manage scheduling, including appointments, meetings, and follow-ups, ensuring timely communication and coordination.
- Handle inquiries from participants, families, and external parties, providing information and assistance as required.
- Prepare reports, documents, and presentations related to NDIS plans, participant progress, and administrative activities.
- Undertake auditing tasks to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- An understanding of NDIS or experience working in disability and/or mental health (valued but not essential)
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
