The Role:
An opportunity exists for an experienced Paralegal to join our growing practice on a full time basis. We have more than one role available at our City office.
In this busy role, you will be supported in a team environment. Your role will be fast paced and challenging, requiring you to utilise your skills to ensure deadlines are met.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Diary Management
- File, document, and email management
- Liaising with clients and external professionals and service providers
- Billing
- Adhoc duties as required
About You:
You will share our empathy and drive to ensure the best outcome for clients.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Paralegal or Legal Secretary
- Experience in the Motor Vehicle/CTP area is ideal
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow strict processes and guidelines
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Enthusiastic, proactive and process driven
- Good work ethic
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word skills, experience with Filepro (legal management system) an advantage
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively
