Lime Lawyers is seeking an experienced Personal Injury paralegal to join our team. You will join an existing team of senior paralegals and legal secretaries to provide support to our senior lawyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients to obtain instructions and gather information, provide claim updates & facilitate appointments;
- Liaise with defendant and third parties;
- Draft a variety of documents including correspondence, pre-court documents, court documents, statements and briefs;
- Assist with internal training where necessary;
- Facilitate matter progression.
Skills & Experience
Ideally, the successful candidate will have had prior experience in a similar role in Personal Injury law.
In addition they will need:
- The ability to both work autonomously and part of a team, depending on the task and business demands
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Excellent organisational, analytical and file management skills
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- To be client service oriented and be able to demonstrate empathy in various situations
- A willingness to learn and take on challenges
- To be proactive and self-motivated
