As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Administrator to support our finance team in handling day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an administrator in an account’s environment, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This is not a work from home position.
Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including student invoice creation and processing, processing student payments, and vendor management.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, in particular Xero and MS Office.
- Previous experience with an (RTO) Registered Training Organisation advantageous.
- An understanding of student management systems specifically PowerPro RTO an advantage but not essential.
- An understanding of the Construction Training Fund advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Share similar values of the company directors.
Schedule:
Part-time.
3 days per week, 9am to 5pm, total 24 hrs.
Thursday and Friday are required days, with the other day being negotiable.
