Qualifications & experience
- Relevant work experience in an admin, general office or a customer service role preferred but may not be required for the right applicant
- Good communication and telephone skills mandatory
- An ability to cope with a substantial number of telephone calls and efficiently allocate jobs to drivers in a busy environment
- The successful applicant is required to be able to give directions based on reading map co-ordinates
Tasks & responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls from farmers seeking pick up of injured/dead livestock
- Co-ordinate and organise with livestock pick up drivers to efficiently collect the dead/injured livestock
- Use GPS navigation software to assist livestock pick up drivers with pick up of injured/dead livestock in the most efficient manner
- Answer incoming telephone calls from meat sales customers and suppliers
- Other general office duties
