Part-time role 20 - 30 hours per week varying hours and days around week-to-week event requirements.
The successful candidate will be the core point of contact for Events and Weddings starting from sales and leads all the way to the actual event execution, ensuring a memorable experience for our clients.
What we need from you
- Experience – 2+ years’ experience in a venue setting or related field
- Positive and fluid communication skills both verbally and digitally
- A love of creating exceptional events, and seeing them through to fruition
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail
- A pro-active attitude with a desire to grow and succeed
- Ability to build rapport and create meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients
Your Day to day
- Ensure the whole client experience is successful and memorable and act as the brand ambassador and key contact throughout their journey
- Coordinate and respond to prospective event leads to ensure no opportunities are missed
- General ongoing communications with clients and potential clients
- Liaise with internal teams front of house and back of house with event specific information
- At pre-event planning stage, consult with the client to optimise all elements of the event including space, menu, set up and specific event requirements.
- Preparation of all levels of event paperwork from confirmations and invoices to event orders and invoices
- Work alongside the restaurant and its requirements to coordinate seamless side by side operations between events and the restaurant
- Potential package creation and marketing of package promos to fill in gaps, quieter periods and short leads
- Answering phones and responding emails to pertaining to event and restaurant enquiries, reservations and general requirements across all facets of the business
