Part-Time "Hands On" Financial Controller - 3 Days A Week

Sun Mining Services Pty Ltd an Australian Mining Services Company that has been growing rapidly since its incorporation in 2012. We carry out blasting services in Australia and around the world.

We are looking for a permanent part-time Financial Controller to take control of all the Accounting work in the Business who reports directly to the Managing Director. We have 4 Australian based Companies and one overseas based Subsidiary Company. This role is for 3 Days per week, 2 days in the Office and 1 day WFH, and is based at Dinmore. It is a very autonomous role and covers a large range of accounting work and would someone who has had a good accounting career but now just wants to work part time.

You will have previous experience as a Hands OnFinancial Controller, who is prepared to do all levels of accounting work. 

 Key areas of responsibility

• Monthly Reporting 
• Stock Control 
• Fixed Asset Maintenance 
• Payroll 
• BAS and IAS returns
• Inter Company Accounts
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• ASIC compliance
• Year End Financial Accounts
• Liaising with external Tax Agents and Auditors – Local and Overseas
• HR Management skills would be advantageous 

Must have

• Professional membership CA or CPA 
• Previous experience as a Financial Controller/Finance Manager or CFO
• Minimum 10 years accounting experience
• High proficiency in Xero
