People & Culture Administrator
Part Time (14 hours per week) Term Contract until December 2025
Salary from $38.89 per hour plus superannuation
(Salary package will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications)

About the Position
The People & Culture Administrator plays a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the division for all people related enquiries. You will be providing high quality, first contact customer service, by responding to internal enquiries via a central contact centre.
This role supports the People & Culture Division to deliver people focused services to the organisation that creates a positive employee experience.
This position is a Part time job share arrangement working 2 days per week on a Term contract until December 2025. This may be extended subject to operational requirements. The 2 days per week will be Thursday and Friday with the possibility of alternative days by agreement with the job share partner.
The role would suit someone who is studying Human Resources or a related discipline and looking for Part time work.
What You will be doing:
You'll be the frontline responder to enquiries coming through from our large diverse workforce either via phone or an online form. Your role will involve providing on the spot resolution but where this is not possible you will coordinate the triage of enquiries to the relevant teams within People & Culture.
You will be reviewing requests and analysing trends to identify areas of improvement within the People & Culture team
Other duties in this position will include purchasing, general administration, coordinating employee engagement initiatives and social events, and providing support to other teams within the division.
About you:
You will be studying a HR qualification or recently graduated, be curious, a fast learner as well as have a passion for people. You will have strong values that underpin your day-to-day tasks and have the ability to build rapport and trust with a variety of people within Council.
You will have a process improvement mindset and the ability to work with a tight nit team on operational daily tasks.
