The Role
Our client, located in Dee Why and within the medical industry, seeks a bright and motivated person to join their team. The main objective of the role is to provide high quality reception and administrative services to their practice in co-ordinating all facets of efficient appointment scheduling, administration and providing a superior level of patient care and service.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Create a warm and welcoming experience for all patients
• Provide an outstanding level of professionalism and service in all interactions with patients and health professionals via telephone and in person
• Effective supervision and co-ordination of front reception ensuring organised scheduling and management of patient appointments for the surgeons and nurse
• Financial management of clinic consultation payments including invoicing, receipting, end of day reporting and reconciliation
• Responding to enquiries via the website promptly
• Effective and confidential management of patient records
• Manage emails, faxes and scanning of documentation
• Provide administration support to the Practice Manager
• Travel to the Eastern suburbs clinic may be required on occasion
Skills & Knowledge
• Previous experience as a receptionist is a must (within the medical industry highly regarded but not essential)
• Passionate about providing an exceptional level of customer service
• Thrive on working in a busy and fast paced work environment
• Professional, confident and friendly
• Well-honed time management skills with the ability multi-task
• High level of numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Sound PC skills
