An exciting opportunity exists for a nurse to join our motivated team in a role that includes job sharing administration and nurse duties within our very busy specialist pain management practice.
Frankston Pain Management is a well established busy Specialist clinic located in Frankston Victoria.
We have 5 specialists who all work to provide the highest standards of comprehensive pain management for patients that maximizes function, while minimizing pain and suffering.
Our clinic strives to increase knowledge and understanding of chronic pain through research and education.
We are looking for a motivated nurse who is friendly, professional and has a commitment to a high standard of care both independently and in a team environment. You will work closely with our pain management specialists and patients within your scope of practice. We require someone who is reliable and punctual.
To Fulfill this role you will need:
Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
Current registration with AHPRA
A commitment to delivering high quality clinical care to patients
Able to be flexible, multitask and prioritize work as the clinic and patient needs change.
Excellent computer skills ( efficiency in medical practice software, an advantage)
To be able to work as part of a team and be flexible to pick up tasks to work autonomously.
To be willing to work in a combined nursing and administrative role within a private clinic.
Duties include:
Assisting our doctors with clinical procedures
Conducting assessment and screening of patients
Providing patient education and support
Patient follow up calls, collecting and recording treatment outcomes
Managing accurate medical records
Collaborating with the clinic team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
